Online Burial Registry - Vitebsk Burial Record

Meir Zalman Abizhaus

At the JewishGen.org website, I discovered a record in the Online Burial Registry for Meir Zalman Abizhaus. I find this very interesting because my oldest Abezgauz record is for Meir Abezgauz who had a grandson Zalman. Both the names Meir and Zalman were very common names to our family back then. Unfortunately, there is no date listed. The record also shows the father's name as Eliyahu and the city of the burial as Lepel, Belarus. This reinforces that our family was in that area.
